Employer or Potential Employer Member and Certification Verification
AMT offers, as a member benefit, verification of certification and membership for its members in good standing. This verification is provided to employers, potential employers, and some state licensure agencies regarding the status of an AMT member at no charge. Members in good standing are considered those whose annual membership dues have been paid in full.
To receive information regarding an individual's member and certification status, please submit in writing the following information on the individual:
- the member's name, (and if the name has changed recently, the previous name)
- the member's address
- the member's social security number
- the member's AMT ID number if available
If you are an employer, potential employer, or involved with state licensure, please provide information regarding your company's name, address, and reason for the inquiry.
Once the request is received in writing, AMT will respond with the following information within 3 business days:
- Confirmation of whether or when an individual received his/her AMT certification
- Confirmation of which AMT certification the individual was awarded
- Information regarding whether the individual has a current certification
